 Get to know the dedicated women behind the Brampton Latinos Association. Our Board of Directors is made up of five Latinas, each bringing their own unique story and experience to our community. From refugees to immigrants and first- and second-generation Canadians, our journeys reflect the diversity that makes Brampton so special. We are connected by resilience, hope, and the shared goal of building a better future and preserving our Latin American roots.

As refugees, we found safety. As immigrants, we embraced new opportunities. As first- and second-generation Canadians, we honor our roots while shaping what’s to come. These experiences fuel our passion for preserving and celebrating Latin culture. Through the Brampton Latinos Association, we are creating a space where every member of our community can feel a deep connection to their heritage, no matter where their story began.

Our different perspectives allow us to bring events like the Brampton Latin Fest to life - where our culture’s music, food, and traditions bring people together. More than just a celebration, it’s a way to highlight the strength in our diversity and the power of community.
